On the same day in which the Human Resources management of Navantia signed the collective dismissal file by which workers over 61 years old will be pre-retired, both parties also reached an important employment agreement for Ferrolterra.
Both parts, the management and social spokespersons of the company, agreed on the number of new contracts that will be carried out this year in the shipyards of the Ría Ferrolana, which has increased to 235.
However, the process has only just begun. At the moment it has not transcended how the allocation of the places will be carried out, although it will be the local employment commissions that will be in charge of developing all the questions related to the future offer, as well as of establishing how the contracting processes will be developed.
