Navantia and Windar Renovables have just won a contract for a park in Scotland. It is the Kinkardine park, located 15 kilometers away from the town of Aberden.
This park, promoted by Cobra, an ACS subsidiary, already has a turbine installed.
The Ferrolan shipyard and the Asturian firm will carry out the construction of 5 floating foundations for the park, on which wind turbines of 9.6 MW will be installed.
The new order comes at a crucial time, both for the shipyard and for the auxiliary industries, as it was about to run out of work at the Perlío shipyard.
